Emily Irene VanCamp has been an Canadian actor for a long time. The actress is famous for her roles in the film industry and on television. Her work is well-known on both Canadian and American television. At the age of Emily was 12 she became fascinated by acting after she visited her sister Katie at the location of one of her film. She began taking classes in acting, and then auditioning when she realized that she had a passion for acting. She started out with a couple of ads, and was soon cast in Are You Afraid Of The Dark, a Canadian horror show for kids. She was only seen in one scene, without dialog. At the age 15, Emily got her first big break after she became a regular on the WB program Glory Days. Emily's performance in the show by WB Glory Days which ended up being cancelled after nine episodes, attracted the attention and casting of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily is also a professional dancer as well as a photographer. She was named one of Teen's top 20 actors. Maxim placed her at number 51 in its Hot 100 of 2014.
