Laura Linney was one of the best American actors of recent times. Her savacious and flimsy roles have earned her a cult famous. When she was a child, spending summers in the home of her father, she developed an interest for the stage. After studying at Brown University for a while, then later at Juilliard School to study acting. Her career began on Broadway following her graduation, she appeared in films within two years, and then on television within a year. In the years since, she's been appearing in a variety of films, TV shows and stage performances. She received many accolades over the course of her career including four Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards. However, despite all the awards, her passion for theater is still there constant, as she continues to perform both onscreen and onstage.
