Molly Tarlov (born November 11 31st, 1981) is an American actor, most well-known since 2011 for her role as Sadie Saxton on the television comedy-drama series Awkward. Tarlov was one of two daughters who was born and raised by her grandparents in Manhattan. At the age of 10-years-old, she began her acting career in the show Bye Bye Birdie, at Little Red School House. The 7th year olds who watched the show were extremely impressed. She attended classes for a year in Paris as a student at NYU Tisch, and was a summer student at NYU Tisch during her teenage years at Interlochen Center for the Arts. She trained in a range of different styles and finally earned her bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Bennington College. The Atlantic Theater Company was another school she attended. She also incorporated writing into her performance in the LAByrinth Theatre master course. Molly gave away her winter coat and purchased a pair of glasses in black on her way to Los Angeles. In no time, she was offered a three-word character in iCarly, which attracted the interest from her family members. Molly has made a number of TV appearances, and also played the character of Caitlin in Winnie Holzman and Savannah Dooley's ABC's Family show Huge. Molly loves to pretend she's a pro at basketball, even though she's far from it. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
