Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
My baby crawled around inside a playpen, while I was working 12-hour shifts in sanding floors as well as removing the wallpaper. Ha! All was beginning to fall into place, however there was still a long way to go. For furnishing the space it would be a huge effort both in both time and funds. Also, I had to go out and shop for my most-loved items. In order to stay within budget, I began taking my kids to estate sales in search of diamonds. The routine we had for the week was to spend Thursday-Saturday walking through estate sales and garage sales buying a mixture of antique and brand new furniture while I spent weekends painting and sanding the driveway. My passion for furniture restoration began when I saw a style similar to this. Even though the house had been equipped, I couldn't stop. I had a stand on the local market, and sold pieces there. Eventually I had more pieces that I could decide how to use them and had outgrown the space. At home, I began hosting open houses in which more than 1000 guests could visit and purchase any product they wanted on the first floor over the course of a weekend. Growing Days was created in the home. The business wasn't just expanding, but so was my sweet family too. As a mom of a child I was able to strike the right way to be able to begin my own company and be a good mother. Growing Days fit perfectly. My precious Nora came into the world in 2013 and was our fourth baby. My business was going well however I needed a break. I decided to stop working on my antique furniture for a while and be at home with the children. This was just what I was looking for. But after a couple of months without a phone, it began to call. A lot of people contacted me to ask for advice regarding home improvements and decor. Most of them visited my home at my open house for furniture. The time flew by before I had a fully-fledged home renovation company. I began by taking clients with a speed I could be confident in. It is likely that I'd have laughed had I had been told that the business was going to be the premise of an upcoming television show in the DIY Network. In fact, I do amused when I think of it.
