Amanda Seales, formerly Amanda Diva, (born July 1 1981 ) in Los Angeles, California) is a Comedian, host, DJ, content creator and much more. She moved to Orlando when she was just eight years old and attending Dr. Phillips High School and then went to SUNY Purchase for undergrad then receiving her master's in African American studies with a specialization in hip-hop from Columbia University. Amanda Seales made her debut in the role of Deonne as Deonne in My Brother and Me (Nickelodeon, 1994), and later gained recognition with MTV2 Sucker Free Sundays, MTV2 Sucker Free, and VJ Amanda Diva. Amanda Seales was a singer and poet for a time and then changed her name to Amanda Seales in 2011. The show returned her to TV in the following year, adding stand-up comedian to her resume.
